When Laura arrests Sid for driving under the influence, Diver and the rest of the residents pitch in to support Sid and his wife.
At the trial, Diver is called to testify. When he swears his oath, he kisses the Bible.
Laura accuses Diver of hiding his true self behind humor.
Francis Greenslade also had a recurring role in the series as Simmo, but only appeared in two other episodes during David's era: The Fellowship of the Suit and Vaya Con Dios to All That.
