Diver accepts the invite, surprised that Meredith had told Laura he could dance. Angus thinks it's a bad idea and tells Diver not to go. Rather than cancel on Laura, Diver turns himself in to the police over some unpaid tickets in hopes he could spend the night in jail rather than go to the dance. Laura thinks otherwise and orders him to do community service... in her office.
Diver turns out to be an obsessively organized. He not only sorts Laura's files, but comes up with a color coding system.
Goof: When the scene opens at the magistrate's ball in the very first (overhead) shot Sigrid and David can be seen, standing in a doorway waiting for their cue.
