May 2008

1. Two trailers for Australia are now online. The extended one, originally shown only in cinemas in Australia as a preview for audiences of Indiana Jones, is now online here. Thanks to moviefan for finding that one. Here's a pic of David from the extended trailer:

2. The first trailer released for the film (and shorter than the one above) can be seen on Bigpond Video. You can also watch it on Australiamovie.net or YouTube.

3. There is a new podcast online from Baz Luhrmann's Set-to-Screen Series, which focuses on the costume designer's role in the film Australia. David appears in at least one scene. Caps of which can be found on the newly created Australia gallery, not to be confused with the other Australia gallery which is for behind-the-scenes shots.

1. News from australiamovie.net: "australiamovie.net was hacked a few weeks back, as were a lot of sites that use the Coppermine Image Galleries, anyway... we're BACK ONLINE and fully functional, non infectious." Welcome back!
2. Miwa found a new trailer has been released for The Children of Huang Shi featuring a scene with David, which she capped and shared.

3. Baz Luhrmann is presenting a series of Podcasts called Set to Screen featuring behind the scenes education on the film Australia. David appears briefly in the first two. Thanks to Wenhamswans for spotting David!

10. Thanks to Bellis, I was able to update an old article from the set of Answered By Fire. I realized I had the wrong article pointing to the wrong photograph. So now the correct articles are in place with Bellis' lovely scans (see below), and all is well in the world.

March 2008

2. The official Children of Huang Shi page is up and running, and there are photos of David (see above), plus he's got his own page in the cast section with a nice photo there as well (thanks, Nenya). His character's name is Barnes.

I've had a gallery page for the movie for a while, but forgot to link it. So now you can get to it from here and the film gallery page.

3. Miwa found this delightful photo (above) of David at the Ruinart Champagne launch in Sydney in April of 2007.

4. Obtained a 2006 article (above) about a luncheon David attended for his favorite hair stylist. I created a new page for articles about David and the Valonz hair salon.

February 2008
1. David has joined the cast of the Johnny Depp film "Public Enemies"! His character is Pete Pierpont, a member of John Dillinger's gang! More information will be added to the site as news develops.

2. David has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor by the Saturn Awards. The winners will be announced at the ceremony on June 24th. 300 has received a total 10 nominations. Congratulations David! And thanks to Nenya for finding this great news!

3. A new trailer for Married Life is online. David appears toward the end of the preview. Pics from the trailer can be found on the Married Life page. The trailer can be seen here.

4. A new photo from the 2006 IF Awards was published recently with the announcement of David's casting in Public Enemies. The pic can also bee seen on the 2006 IF Awards page.

January 2008
