How did your business get started?
Twelve years ago a friend suggested I start up a business similar to a friend of hers in Melbourne, who also had a passion 
for houses. I was looking for a change in career. At that time I was in film production and interior design. I started 
Change of Address with organisational skills, an education in interior design and a newly obtained real estate licence.

Had any famous clients?
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, Jane Campion, Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward, Toni Collette, David Wenham and Richard Roxburgh

What percentage of your clients come from overseas?
About 5 per cent and they're mainly expats. Many of my clients travel a lot and so they don't have a lot of time to look 
for property.

Do you find properties overseas for people?
Not on a regular basis, but I have found homes for celebrity clients in Los Angeles, New Zealand and Brisbane. These were 
unique cases for very special clients.

You also offer interior design advice. Are you trained in this area or do you just have an eye for it?
I have formal training as an interior designer.

What do you love most about running Change of Address?
I have a real passion for property, and love to marry a client with the property that fits them best.

Is part of the reason your business is in demand because buying/selling/moving is so stressful?
Yes, these are very big decisions that are often only made once or twice in a lifetime.

What has been your biggest stroke of good luck, or good planning?
Being introduced to Nicole Kidman and learning from the experience how to work with high-profile clients.

What challenges have you faced since starting your business?
Educating people toward the advantages of my service and keeping clients up to date with the changing property market.

Is word of mouth important for your business?
Word of mouth is my strongest source of business. Happy clients in their new homes make the best referrals possible.

Any advice for budding entrepreneurs?
Never, never, never give up.

What do people most seek out in a new home?
Light, quiet and parking

Are any areas of Sydney emerging as the next hot spots for the rich and famous to live?
The northern and eastern beaches are always in demand, properties close to private schools and particularly Rose Bay.
