What do you do when you have heaps of old clothes, loads of bric-a-brac, and furniture that you don't need any more
You have a garage sale of course!

Which is just what the Melbourne Theatre Company did last weekend.

Everything from trays of fake lamingtons to David Wenham's trousers, his costume from a production of Cyrano de Bergerac,
were up for grabs at this theatrical garage sale.

The Deep End's early-bird bargain-hunter Sally Nowlan was there before the doors opened - and caught up with the MTC's
Philanthropy Manager Rupert Sherwood.

Sale results: David Wenhams outfit went for $2000, and the garage sale raised almost $30,000.
