The truly good folk of the Wayside Chapel in Potts Point
have been putting on a few shows to raise much-needed funds for their charity
work and the refurbishment of facilities. They've already staged a classical
concert and on Thursday opened an arts exhibition attended by, among others,
the Chapel's ambassador, David Wenham.
Next, on October 27, comes the fashion show ($25-$35, 9358
5582), exhibiting some of the finest items from the establishment's adjoining
op shop.
These fashion shows are nothing new, but this year the event
raises the stakes with designer Saffron Craig styling the program and model
agency Guys and Dolls donating the models - which will make something of a
change from Chapel volunteers modelling.
Not that they weren't beautiful in their own way.
