Some of the street scenes in the movie were filmed on the intersection of Swanston Street and Flinders Street, where Federation Square, Flinders Street Station and St. Paul's Catherdral are located.
In the following photograph, Eddie is running into the Flinders Street Station. You can see Federation Square and Swanston Street behind him. Federation Square was also used in the Murray Whelan movies.
