Wenham's day in the sun
ACTOR David Wenham was apparently not around to pick up the best TV actor prize he won at the Australian Film Institute
industry awards last week, largely because he was on the other side of the world in Morocco. Wenham won an AFI for the
ABC film Answered by Fire, and presumably the news of his victory reached him in Marrakesh where on the weekend he was
judging the 6th International Marrakesh Film Festival along with a glittering array of co-judges, including renowned
director Roman Polanski. At the opulently named Marrakesh Congress Palace, Wenham later presented the best actress
prize to Fatou N'Diaye, from Senegal, for her role in A Sunday in Kigali.
